Tara Wieter is a children's book illustrator living in Connecticut. She is a recent graduate of the Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design, holding a BFA in Illustration. 

 

Tara is an illustrator whose work celebrates the beauty of stories held in memory and the warmth of nostalgia. Her illustrations embrace the imagination, curiosity, and sense of wonder often found in childhood. With ten years of experience as an early childhood educator, Tara draws inspiration from youthful exploration and the small moments that shape how we see the world. Using rich textures and vivid color palettes, she creates engaging illustrations that invite viewers of all ages to reconnect with familiar feelings and joyful memories.
